Wang Xingxing commented: "720-degree spinning kick, listen to the sound! Kung Fu BOT playing a game, real footage, no speed-up or editing in this video. Also, please do not attempt this and maintain a safe distance from the robot."

On February 25th, Unitree Technology released an official video announcing another upgrade to its humanoid robot algorithm, claiming that the robot can "learn any movement, at will." In the video, the Unitree G1 robot demonstrated common martial arts hand and foot movements, and even performed a one-legged spinning kick.

The Unitree G1 humanoid robot is a product of Hangzhou Unitree Technology Co., Ltd., an AI-powered humanoid robot that was launched on May 13, 2024. On February 12, 2025, the robot became available for sale on the JD platform after gaining widespread attention for its performance at the Spring Festival Gala, where it performed a traditional dance.

The Unitree G1 humanoid robot stands approximately 127 cm tall and weighs around 35 kg. It features exceptional flexibility, unlocking limitless movement potential. It can run at speeds greater than 2 m/s and has a wide range of joint movements, with 23 to 43 joints. Its maximum joint torque reaches 120 N·m, allowing it to perform complex dynamic actions such as dynamic standing, sitting, folding, and stick dancing. Additionally, the G1 continues to evolve with the help of deep reinforcement learning and simulation training, driven by the accelerating development of AI.

According to its official website, Hangzhou Unitree Technology is a world-renowned civilian robotics company, focusing on the independent development, production, and sale of high-performance, general-purpose quadruped/humanoid robots and dexterous robotic arms for both consumer and industrial applications. Before this year's Spring Festival Gala, the company had been invited to perform at the 2021 Chinese New Year Gala and the 2022 Winter Olympics opening ceremony.
