A Hall sensor is a type of sensor based on the Hall effect principle, which uses the influence of an external magnetic field on the trajectory of charged particles in a current-carrying medium to measure the magnetic field. Its working principle is that when a current in conductive material is subjected to an external magnetic field, a voltage difference is generated on its two sides. This phenomenon is known as the Hall effect. Based on the different working modes of the Hall effect, Hall sensors can be divided into two types: linear Hall sensors and Hall switch sensors.


SL1603 is a low-power Hall switch sensor specifically designed for space-constrained systems and battery-sensitive systems.
