As our ancestors said, "The legacy of the Bo people is passed down, and Sichuan never parts with Chongqing, nor does Ba leave Shu!" The familiar calls of "Pao Ge" (older brother) and "Yao Mei" (younger sister), and the irresistible scent of spicy hotpot, are the same blood that flows in the veins of the people from Sichuan and Chongqing. They are also the bond that connects the "Chuan-Yu Same Core Conference" in Shenzhen!

In early September, Yang Heng from Shangge Industrial shared, "My relatives from my hometown in Bazhong said the pigs are getting fat for the New Year, and I can almost smell the sausages and cured meats." P姐, the owner of Davi Technology, said, "I’m craving the red oil tossed with zhe'er gen from my hometown, it’s making me drool and think about the New Year!" Wei Ge, who gathers the industrial community in Chengdu, replied in the group chat, "We’re getting the annual meeting ready! I’m coming to Shenzhen to play, even if I have to do flips and stunts!"

The "Chuan-Yu Same Core Conference" leader, Bo Ge from Lichuang Mall, immediately arranged, "Let’s go! Bring out the directors of this year’s annual meeting, Lei Ge and Hui Ge, from the 888 VIP room on the second floor!" As the old saying goes in Huaqiangbei, "Men and women paired together, directors and performances stay balanced." And then, The General Manager of SLKOR, Song Shiqiang and Bo Ge said, "Being honest and upright in life and work is what creates brilliance!" And thus, the 8th Annual Meeting began.

"Lei Ge" is Wang Lei from Qingshang Weiye, a fitness enthusiast who has traveled widely, using his well-defined chest muscles to conquer Huaqiangbei, and even climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. "Hui Ge" is Wang Hui from Ruicheng Hui Electronics (yes, she’s a woman, important to mention three times!), known for her bold, chivalrous spirit. She once got drunk and knocked out a whole table of men, earning the title "Hui Ge." Everyone, don't misinterpret this!

Chapter 1: A Simple Celebration with a Local Feast, Square Dancing, and Chatting

The annual meeting kicks off with a bang! Bo Ge, Yang Heng, Jiang Xiangyang from Ruicai Electronics, Xu Hong from Dajia Yuan Supply Chain, and several big brothers and sisters from under the Huangguo tree at the village entrance agreed that this year’s celebration would be simple. They decided to just have a local feast, do some square dancing, and gather together casually to celebrate. The focus would be on everyone joining in and having fun, and they welcomed the elderly folks to join in as well.

The main directors, Lei Ge and Hui Ge, then decided to host the event at the very spacious Five Continents Hotel near the village entrance. Liu Jiecong from Meixinmei Technology said, "I’ll bring some Chaozhou snacks." Jiang Zhi from Foxin Technology said, "We’ll sponsor some health supplements brought back from Southeast Asia—men take them to get stronger, women take them to become more beautiful, and for those who are neither men nor women, they’re useless!" Bo Ge said, "I also have leftover 'Qinghua Lang' liquor from the New Year that I’ll contribute." Huang Yi from Xihua Electronics mentioned that he had local snacks from his hometown, such as Hechuan peach cake and Chongqing spicy beans.

Shuoyu, from Huaqiang Electronics, known for his "Huaqiangbei knowledge," joked, "I can ride my 'Mobike' and come over from Huaqiangbei in just a few minutes!" Everyone was excited, knowing there would be endless food, drinks, and lively chatting (known locally as 'longmen zhen').

And then, Grandpa Song from Kinghelm, a major sponsor, showed up, ready to show off by handing out huge red envelopes, as he often does. Before anyone knew it, the party was underway with hundreds of attendees!

The "Chuan-Yu Tongxin Association" originated in Huaqiangbei and is an informal organization made up of people from Sichuan and Chongqing who work in the upstream and downstream sectors of integrated circuits and electronic components in Shenzhen and surrounding cities. The association was created to facilitate information exchange, strengthen relationships, and promote mutual development. Every year, the members gather for an annual meeting, and this year marks the 8th edition of the event.

Key figures such as Yang Kaidi from Kefei Enterprises, Li Peng from Yuanyang Electronics, Liang Yao from Liexin Network, Ma Jun from Honglong Electronics, Li Guangzheng from Yalianxin, Rao Jie from Guangchi Electronics, and others contribute both financially and with their efforts to make the event a success. The international TME platform's Jiang Xiaozhou, Xie Pengbo from Biao Xin Electronics (Hunan), Shen Xi from Xuan Cheng Da Technology, Chen Bo from Shenzhou Xunmeng Software, and the very reliable Ju Lijun from Yongshengda Electronics, as well as Wang Guotao from Mei Man Electronics, all say, "We are also old friends of the 'Chuan-Yu Tongxin Association.' Each of our families contributes a dish to share, have some fun, chat, joke around, and just enjoy the time together. Let’s have a great time celebrating the New Year!"

Lin Zhenchuan from Huachuangtai Electronics told Boge that the brothers and sisters of the Huaqiangbei charity organization "Ande Association" will also join in the festive spirit of the Chuan-Yu New Year Gala. Zhang Lu from Woquan Technology, Wang Hui from Baiwei Electronics, Jia Yuchun from Yiling Technology, Liu Jiaqi from Ketuowei Electronics, and others generously contributed. Over the past four years, the "Ande Association" has actively supported public welfare initiatives, contributing both money and efforts. This year, they spent over 300,000 yuan on scholarships and other charitable causes. Who says Huaqiangbei lacks positive energy? Not only do we have the "Positive Energy Platform" with Brother Song Chuan, but we also have the benevolent "Ande Association." Let's take a moment at the end of the year to recognize them!

Chapter 2: The Importance of Participation – Wonderful Moments

The people from Sichuan and Chongqing are usually busy with their own businesses, so many of them rarely have face-to-face communication. The annual meeting aims to ensure everyone’s participation and strengthen mutual understanding, as you never know when a potential business collaboration might arise. To make sure everyone feels involved, the chief director of the annual event, the handsome Wang Lei from Huaqiangbei, and the beautiful Wang Hui decided to form performance groups based on the different residential areas in Shenzhen. As a result, the "Wolong at Gang" performance group from Longgang District began rehearsing, and preparations for the stage play "The Legend of the White Snake" to welcome the Year of the Snake were also well underway...

As experienced attendees know, an exciting event needs a bit of a buildup to reach its climax. During the guest sign-in and photo session, the cosplay of Black Wukong prepared by the performance team amazed everyone. Beautiful ladies from Sichuan and Chongqing eagerly took photos with the tall and strong characters dressed in golden chainmail and holding the golden staff, such as Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and the White Snake. As the "War God of Huaqiangbei, Uncle Song Shiqiang" rightly said, combining beautiful women with powerful beasts is a surefire hit at the box office, and as Wei Ge says, dirty jokes are the key to viral success! The director team also prepared a hidden surprise performance, which they plan to reveal at the very end of the event for everyone’s enjoyment!

The gala kicked off to the powerful and bold sound of the "Chuanjiang Chant." This year’s hosts featured a combination of veterans and a newcomer: Shangge Yang Heng, Dajian Yuan Xu Hong, and Sister Crab Wang Yawen, alongside the little beauty Liao Xue from Yashijing, who made a shining debut. Xu Hong said, "Today, I’m wearing bright red, and Sister Crab Wang Yawen is dressed in royal purple. We hope that all the friends and sponsors attending the gala will have a prosperous business in the coming year, full of 'great red and great purple'!"

Next, the programs arranged by the bosses and their wives from Huaqiangbei took the stage, including "Kaidilalong," the stage play "The Peerless Dancer," the dance runway show "Dream Journey to the West," the dance medley "Chuanyu Brothers Strike it Rich," the dance "Fatal Lover," and the performance by the Wolong Band, among others! Due to several elderly ladies who claimed to be my fans and asked for autographs and drinks, I didn’t get to see the full performance. However, I saw the fantastic highlights later in the WeChat Moments of my brothers and sisters who attended the gala. However, there were still a few wonderful moments that left a lasting impression on me. One of them was the performance in "The Legend of the White Snake" by the Dazhou guy, "Cobra King Jie," who cross-dressed as a woman. His upper body was muscular, and you could tell he was like a wild cobra, not fed with any artificial diet. It reminded me of Mr. Li Peng from Far East Electronics, who also cross-dressed last year. His performance was outstanding too. After getting off the stage, he enthusiastically gave me two pomelos he had tucked in his chest, saying they were sent from his hometown in Sichuan. With heartfelt emotion, he added, "A man can have fun and bring something home, while the kids can eat well." I just smiled and accepted the gift, and this scene became a delightful topic of conversation for our Sichuan-Chongqing QQ group for an entire year.

An old saying in Huaqiangbei goes, "When Bo Ge takes the stage, the boss ladies drop their jaws." Amid the cheers and laughter of his brothers and sisters, Bo Ge, the talented vice president of Lichuang Mall in Huaqiangbei, made a grand appearance. To protect his eyes from the blinding lights of the audience's phones, he borrowed a pair of sunglasses from Lin Xia of Hengjin Electronics. Worried that the shine from his bald head might interfere with the lighting, he borrowed a baseball cap from Huang Daoyong, the captain of the basketball team.

As I, Song Daye from Huaqiangbei, finally understood why Bo Ge is an idol to middle-aged and older women, it became clear: he always thinks of others while maintaining a sense of self-discipline. Even when shining brightly on stage, he keeps a quiet inner peace, letting the flowers in his heart bloom with pride.

Bo Ge’s performance of "September Pastoral Song" was incredibly moving, with a deep, emotional atmosphere that was truly captivating. His vocal technique, using breathy tones, suggested that he was using his eight-pack abs to drive the chest cavity's diaphragm resonance. It’s no wonder the boss ladies have long whispered that Bo Ge can hold a plank for 18.88 minutes—now it seems highly believable!

Bo Ge truly was the highlight of the evening, and he remains the steady anchor for us, the people of Sichuan and Chongqing electronics. Against the backdrop of the joyful and graceful "Kangding Love Song," the local folks sang, laughed, drank, and cheered, declaring, "Tonight, we drink until we’re drunk!" The energy was high as everyone clinked glasses and celebrated into the night.

Once Bo Ge appeared, the event was essentially nearing its end. The event's chief directors, "Lei Ge" and "Hui Ge," delivered their final speeches, saying that this year's event was fantastic, and next year's will be even more exciting. They thanked the local participants and sponsors for their support and looked forward to meeting again next year! The event concluded with a perfect ending as the brothers and sisters from Sichuan and Chongqing sang "My Future Is Not a Dream" in unison.
