They have excellent coordination skills, managing the production processes with outsourced wafer and packaging and testing factories. They are meticulous, working with the design department to understand the technical parameters of newly developed products. This is the daily routine of our SLKOR supply chain colleagues. In this issue, we interview Supply Chain Manager Qingqing Xiang. Let's hear her story.

In May 2022, Qingqing Xiang, who returned to the workforce after maternity leave, joined SLKOR and currently serves as a Supply Chain Manager. She is mainly responsible for overseeing production at outsourced factories and managing daily operations within the supply chain department. From creating monthly product demand plans to tracking the production progress of wafer and packaging/testing factories and staying informed about market trends, Qingqing maintains a meticulous and responsible attitude. As she quickly familiarized herself with business knowledge and continuously improved her overall management skills, she transitioned from a supply chain specialist to a manager. Qingqing admits that while the content of her work and the pressure increased with her promotion, she views the pressure as a motivator. She plans to enhance her management and communication skills through ongoing learning and self-improvement.

As SLKOR grows rapidly, the demand for semiconductor products has increased, and so has the requirement for product quality. When asked about unexpected situations encountered at work, Qingqing Xiang candidly admitted that special situations arise daily in her role. However, she believes that with patience and a careful approach, every issue can be resolved effectively. Regarding how newcomers can quickly adapt to this position, Qingqing emphasizes the importance of attention to detail, patience, and communication. She views attention to detail and patience as crucial for this role, as it involves monitoring product production and providing client feedback. Errors in product quantity or pricing can lead to significant losses for the company, making accurate data verification essential. Additionally, mastering communication is a vital skill for a supply chain specialist. Whether coordinating production schedules with outsourced factories or discussing technical parameters with the design department, clear, accurate, and efficient communication is key to ensuring project progress.

As a department manager, Qingqing Xiang is experienced in training new employees. Initially, she helps newcomers quickly become familiar with SLKOR' products. Once they have a basic understanding of the products, she gradually guides them through basic tasks in the system, such as order processing. Additionally, she frequently shares her work experience with new team members, helping them rapidly develop into capable supply chain specialists.

For Qingqing Xiang, working at SLKOR is not just a means of earning a living but also a stage where she can rediscover herself and realize her value. After being a full-time mother for two years, she felt somewhat stifled and decided to return to the workforce. At SLKOR, she has not only acquired new knowledge and skills but also gained a wealth of valuable experience. Three years later, Qingqing has managed to balance her family and work life well. She smiles as she says, "Work is work, and when I'm off, I focus on taking care of my child, with even no time for shopping." Yet, her words reveal a sense of contentment and happiness. Looking to the future, she is filled with anticipation and hope. Professionally, she aims to enhance her management skills while further optimizing the department's workflows. Personally, she looks forward to having more time for herself when her children grow up, including fulfilling small wishes like shopping.
