Sense of Relaxation — My Greatest Experience During Internship at SLKOR

Hello everyone, I'm Zeng Yunlin, a summer intern from Shenzhen Vocational and Technical University. I am honored to have passed the interview with SLKOR and joined the SLKOR family this summer. This valuable internship experience has not only allowed me to successfully accumulate workplace experience and improve my office skills, but more impressively, during the internship, I deeply felt a sense of relaxation at SLKOR that many Chinese companies lack.

With the arrival of the Paris Olympics, the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics and the "French relaxation" on the French people have come to the world. Friends who see this may not be able to help but ask: What is "relaxation"? "Relaxation" is as the name suggests, a state of comfort, relaxation, and moderation. For me, the relaxation of
SLKOR is reflected in all aspects, such as management systems, the relationship between leaders and employees, and company team building.

 

Humanized Management

 

It is well known that the management system of a company is an important foundation for the development of its operations, and it plays a profound guiding role in establishing its business strategy and improving productivity. The management systems of SLKOR and Kinghelm reflect not only the laws of market economic development but also the humanistic care that respects ethical morals. One of the most prominent relaxed systems is the "no overtime" system. As SLKOR General Manager Song Shiqiang has repeatedly stated at company meetings: "To let employees eat well, rest well, and have money to spend, employees can work well." Therefore, at 5:40 every afternoon, colleagues' faces are filled with happy smiles, rushing to the embrace of their families; the next morning everyone is energetic at work, striving to create value for the company and society. However, this kind of relaxation does not mean that the management system is completely loose. To be precise, SLKOR's company system is moderate in relaxation. From attendance systems to administrative management systems, they all reflect efficiency, innovation, rigor, and humanization. The advantages of the system have laid a solid foundation for the company's relaxation.

Building Harmonious Relationships between Leaders and Employees

 

For workers around the world, having an approachable boss and colleagues with a personal touch is ideal. A good company ensures mutual achievement between management and staff. SLKOR, in the eyes of many employees, embodies this ideal perfectly. General Manager Song Shiqiang is known for his generosity and strong principles. Not only is he well-educated and knowledgeable in his field, but he also cares deeply about the physical and mental well-being of his employees. He actively builds strong professional relationships with them.

 

Whenever an employee demonstrates outstanding performance, General Manager Song never hesitates to reward them generously. Whether it's distributing red envelopes in the company chat or offering sincere verbal praise, these actions not only greatly motivate employees but also bridge the gap between leadership and staff. Furthermore, colleagues within the company maintain a cooperative and mutually supportive atmosphere. In my experience, my internship mentors, Guo Yumei and Xu Yajun, epitomize diligence, patience, and dedication. They have patiently and enthusiastically taught me office skills and shared their workplace experiences, treating all interns with equal respect and care.

 

Manager Huang and my fellow interns in our department are also friendly, kind-hearted, and highly skilled "angelic" colleagues. Their warmth has allowed me to relax and effortlessly integrate into the big family of SLKOR.

Diversified Team-building Activities

 

Regularly hosting team-building activities is beneficial for fostering closer relationships among colleagues, enhancing team cohesion, and ultimately boosting the company's combat effectiveness. SLKOR is known for its rich variety of team-building activities. During my internship, I participated in the "Welcome Summer Interns" dinner, which left a lasting impression on me. Manager Huang not only treated us to delicious goose hotpot but also actively engaged in conversations, helping us understand each other and gradually building friendships.

 

Additionally, the SLKOR Basketball Cup organized by the company provided employees with physical exercise, mental fortitude, and improved relationships between superiors and subordinates, all while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere. Engaging in sports activities allowed us to burn fat together and experience the sense of achievement and relaxation brought by dopamine release.

 

Furthermore, after the Chinese New Year holiday, the company organized a hometown cuisine sharing event. Colleagues collaborated to create a feast of regional delicacies, exchanging stories and cultural insights about their hometown cuisines and festive traditions. These series of activities significantly enhanced friendly relationships among colleagues, honed the company's spirit of "cooperation and win-win," and cultivated a relaxed company atmosphere through these various team-building events.

SLKOR's exclusive sense of relaxation not only helped me quickly adapt to the pace of work as a newcomer to the workplace but also enabled me to gradually discover my strengths and realize my own value. This has been highly motivating for me. Finally, I sincerely thank SLKOR for providing me with this internship opportunity. I am determined to live up to the company's expectations and work hard to complete the upcoming internship tasks!

Lastly, I wish SLKOR Semiconductor and Kinghelm Electronics a bright future, rapid development, and an early IPO.
