On July 1, 2023, I joined the family of Slkor for a two-month internship. Slkor is a bustling and enriching learning and working environment where I can enjoy the fulfillment of acquiring abundant knowledge.

一、Introduction to the Internship Institution:

Shenzhen SlkorMicro Semicon Co., Ltd. is located in 2010, Block A, Bairuida  Building  Vanke City Community Bantian Avenue, Longgang District, Shenzhen. The company is led by Mr. Song Shiqiang as the General Manager. Slkor primarily focuses on the research and development, production, and sales of electronic components under the "SLKOR" brand, including interface chips, diodes, transistors, optoelectronic devices, and more. In addition, Slkor's official website actively engages in industry-related technological exchanges, idea collisions, information sharing, and data inquiries, gradually becoming one of the most important Internet platforms for collaborative development within the semiconductor industry.

二、Internship Process:

When I first joined the company on my first day, I immediately felt the warmth from the HR department and the care from the management. However, at the same time, I also experienced the busyness and challenges that people often talked about regarding the work here. Every person's work is organized and efficient, which I believe is one of the reasons why Slkor has become a leading company in the semiconductor industry. My colleagues around me would be contacting clients one moment and attending meetings in the conference room the next. However, nobody complains, but instead, they love their work, and there is a harmonious atmosphere among colleagues.

I joined the Foreign Trade Department. I feel that there is a significant difference between studying at school and working in a company, especially in terms of identity transition. In school, we are students, and teachers take care of us while we focus on studying. However, in the workplace, we are employees of the company, responsible for the company's performance and providing support to our frontline sales colleagues. In the company, my main responsibility is to promote the company through online media and other self-media platforms.

At first, I didn't consider my job important, so I didn't take it seriously and even had instances of not completing tasks. However, after receiving warnings and criticism from the HR department, I realized my mistake. Every job, no matter how small, should be done with effort. This is where the importance of responsibility comes in. Just occupying a position without making a contribution is not enough because if we can't take root and grow, there will eventually be better candidates to replace us.

Therefore, I have come to understand that completion is something most people can achieve, but it is only the first step. The true demonstration of our abilities lies in doing things well. In the process, I have experienced the harsh reality of work. General Manager Song Shiqiang said that only by setting high standards for ourselves now can we be competitive in the future when we enter society.

However, at the same time, there is also a lot of happiness and accomplishment in my work. For example, every week, our Slkor Warriors basketball team and Kinghelm Badminton team go out for team building activities. I joined the Slkor Warriors basketball team, and we have regular matches and friendly competitions with colleagues from the electronic components industry, promoting communication and fostering camaraderie among coworkers. I still remember my first game and scoring situation vividly. Although luck played a big part in it, I made a two-point shot and was greatly encouraged by my colleagues, which touched me deeply.

After the basketball game, our Slkor colleagues and the Kinghelm badminton team gather together for dinner and enjoy some drinks. We also organize experience sharing sessions where everyone has the opportunity to exchange ideas and showcase their abilities.

三、Internship Experience:

Internship is a necessary experience for every student stepping into society. It is not just a simple self-practice, but a simulated test for us to enter society. It tells us that studying and the real world are two different worlds, and there is much knowledge waiting for us to explore. My internship experience at Slkor has taught me the following:

1. Communication with others: Good relationships with colleagues are essential for smooth work. Furthermore, communicating with others helps us overcome difficulties more easily.

2. Humble learning: As newcomers, we should show respect to our seniors. We should not be proud of attending prestigious universities nor feel inferior due to attending lesser-known ones.

3. Rigorous and upright attitude: In our work, we should strive to do our best and minimize mistakes.

Entering society may bring confusion, making us unsure of the path in life. However, my internship experience has taught me that the path is right beneath our feet.
