Where do employees go under the COVID-19 ?

Im Xie Lin, and I was employed by Shenzhen SlkorMicro Semicon Co., Ltd in June 2022. Under the leadership of Mr. Song Shiqiang, Slkor is developing very well. As the company is building its corporate organization and management system, I work at the customer service department in Slkor (www.slkoric.com). It has been the third year since the outbreak of COVID-19, many regions have taken strict epidemic prevention measures, people in Shenzhen also experienced several days of community isolation and working at home. Under the epidemic, peoples life and work have also undergone tremendous changes. Many people including myself often worry that we cant go back home every time we go to work because we don't know which comes first, tomorrow or lockdown.

Due to the epidemic, the production and life have been greatly affected. For example, the supply chain was broken, the raw materials cannot be supplied in time, the goods cannot be delivered on schedule, and the mentality of employees also changed. In recent years, many enterprises have closed down, including the former company I served for several years. The virus is rampant, everyone is suffering, and business owners are no exception. We have to set out to find a job again. An ancient saying goes: A wise bird perches on a fine tree. It was by fate that I came to work in Slkor and got familiar with the semiconductor industry. The global event of chip shortage last year made me have a comprehensive understanding of the semiconductor industry. When I came for the interview, I began to know that Slkor is one of the fastest-growing semiconductor companies in China, and its vision is to become the leader of the domestic semiconductor industry. Apart from CEO of Shenzhen SlkorMicro and Kinghelm, Mr. Song Shiqiang is currently holds a few important social positions: private economic researcher of the Economic Development Center of the China State Council, member of the electronic information expert database of China Association for Science and Technology, commercial research expert of Huaqiangbei Alliance. Prior to invest and to manage Shenzhen SlkorMicro Semicon Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Kinghelm Electronics Co., Ltd., Mr. Song was the former CEO of an international real estate listed company. There has been fierce competition of chips, and the United States is dominating and monopolistic in this industry. China experienced the bottleneck by western countries before, now many Chinese companies are working hard on high-end chip field. Although China has achieved independent design and production in low-end chip field, there is still a long way to go. I think the future of domestic chip is the trend, and I also have confidence in the prospect of Slkors domestic substitution. Slkor is firmly grasping the opportunity of "domestic substitution", and its CEO Song Shiqiang is committed to building the Slkor and Kinghelm brands, and takes the dual way of localization and internationalization to realize the rapid growth under the two-wheel drive.

When I chose to leave the e-commerce industry and entered into the new industry of electronic component this year, it was impossible that I had no pressure on my new job. In many cases, I am not competent enough in some business scope and professional knowledge of electronic component industry. Thanks to the guidance of Mr. Song and the help from my colleagues, I gradually became clear about my job responsibility and adapted to this happy and efficient family.

 

I worked in Slkor for just a few months, but I experienced the quarantine at home several times and couldnt go to my company. Song Shiqiang, general manager of Slkor, didnt deduct our wages, instead he gave praise and bonus to the colleagues who went to the company and helped shipping during the epidemic control, which improved the enthusiasm of staff. Under the influence of the epidemic, Slkors performance is still steadily rising, which is directly related to the continuous improvement of product quality and production efficiency, the constant innovation of management, the attention to Internet marketing, and the hard work of all the employees. In Slkor company, I also learned a lot about working methods and ideas. I can better understand our salesman's work attitude, professional knowledge, company process, and service satisfaction from the perspective of customers, which can also better improve our after-sales service and enhance the image of Slkor company and Slkor brand.
