Description

The Polar Unidirectional TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diode is a specialized electronic component designed to protect sensitive circuits from transient voltage spikes and surges in one direction. With a VRWM (Working Peak Reverse Voltage) of 5V, this diode clamps transient voltages that exceed its breakdown voltage (VBR), ranging from 6.4V (minimum) to 7V (maximum). Featuring a low reverse leakage current (Ir) of 800μA, it ensures minimal power loss during normal operation. The diode is capable of handling peak pulse currents (Ipp) of up to 163A and is optimized for 10/1000μs pulses, with a clamping voltage (VC) of 9.2V.
