The Polar Unidirectional TVS Diode is a compact and efficient electronic component designed to protect sensitive circuits from transient voltage spikes and surges in a specified direction. With a V_RWM (Working Peak Reverse Voltage) of 15V, this diode is specifically tailored for applications requiring unidirectional transient voltage suppression. It features a V_BR(Breakdown Voltage) ranging from 16.7V (minimum) to 18.5V (maximum), ensuring effective clamping of voltages exceeding these thresholds in the specified direction. The diode maintains an ultra-low I_r (Reverse Leakage Current) of 1μA, minimizing standby power consumption while providing reliable protection. It can handle peak pulse currents (I_pp) of up to 8.2mA for 10/1000μs pulses, with a low V_C (Clamping Voltage) of 24.4V. Rated for P_pp (Peak Pulse Power) of 200W for 10/1000μs pulses, it efficiently dissipates transient power to safeguard connected electronics.
