The Polar Unidirectional TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diode is a specialized electronic component designed to protect sensitive circuits from transient voltage spikes and surges. With a V_RWM (Working Peak Reverse Voltage) of 5V, this diode is optimized for unidirectional transient voltage suppression. It features a V_BR (Breakdown Voltage) ranging from 6.4V (minimum) to 7V (maximum), initiating conduction to clamp voltages exceeding these thresholds. The diode maintains an I_r (Reverse Leakage Current) of 400μA, ensuring minimal standby power consumption. It can handle peak pulse currents (I_pp) of up to 21.7mA for 10/1000μs pulses, with a low clamping voltage (V_C) of 9.2V. Additionally, it offers a P_pp (Peak Pulse Power) rating of 200W for 10/1000μs pulses, effectively dissipating transient power to safeguard connected electronics.
